Bill (when I mentioned this to him today) points out that it is still very early for these sorts of things, but, there are two new polls out, both conducted around the time of Condi's testimony, that have Kerry ahead of El Presidente by 6 or 7 points among registered voters. Most noteworthy, the Newsweek poll cites 60-23 split of registered voters who believe El Presidente:

"underestimated the terrorist threat and focused too much on other security issues like missile defense and Iraq" rather than "took the threat of global terrorism as seriously as it should have prior to September 11th".

Once again...if he can't run on the economy, and he can't run on defense/terror...what exactly is he going to run on?
