Ticking Timebomb
After yesterday's outbreak of Shiite violence in Iraq, I challenge anyone to look me in the eye and say that things are actually getting better there. The death toll is over 600 in one year there. And the Shiites were the ones who were happiest that we were there (apart from Cheney's good buddy Chalabi and the corrupt cronies in the INC). The Administration still appears to be dead-set on June 30th for a handover of soverignty, but that doesn't mean the troops are coming home then. Mark my words - we pull out all our forces and there will be a civil war. Best case, we get a friendly military dictatorship. Worst case, we get a 'blood enemy.'
