The Life Aquatic

Those that are familiar with my tastes know that I'm a big fan of the films of Wes Anderson (Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, The Royal Tennenbaums). I've been a fan since I first saw Bottle Rocket first came out - an early adopter compared to those who only came after the commercial and critical success of his later films. Some of you also know that I'm a big Bill Murray fan and have been for even longer - in college, my roommate DC and I used to constantly imitate his famous 'Hercules' skit (the fat, out of shape Hercules): "I cannot move that boulder. That boulder is too large." Its no secret that I admire Wes Anderson for helping to resurrect Murray's career after a string of less than successful roles.

Well, finally Murray gets a staring role in a Wes Anderson film, The Life Aquatic. I've been following this film's development for awhile and this morning found that there has been a trailer posted for it. Funny stuff. Can't wait for the release.

Side Note: Also found a trailer for David O. Russell's (writer/director of Flirting with Disaster and Three Kings) newest film, I Heart Huckabees, which looks quite interesting. Check it out.
