All my teams stink

Well...the Kansas City Chiefs are now 0-3 heading into a MNF showdown in Baltimore against the best defense in the league (and a team that should have, by all rights, beaten them last year). Poor defense, mistakes, bad officiating - they've suffered just about all the usual problems this season. Playoffs are slipping away already. The Redskins fell to 1-2 after losing last night to Dallas and have yet to score more than 18 points in a game. Their defense isn't playing bad but something has to get better on offense. Brunell isn't really cutting it and Ramsey looks like a deer in the headlights out there. Arrington and the defense are playing alright, but they aren't good enough to win with just a couple of touchdowns - they need to score in the 20s to win games and right now they just can't cut it.

The less said about this season for the Kansas City Royals the better. The baseball team that will always be near and dear to my heart has had a miserable season. I still hold out hope for the Red Sox in the postseason (clinched their playoff spot last night, still a very outside shot at winning the division), but they're an adopted team since I hate the Yanquis. Until we're awarded the Expos, I remain "teamless" at the moment. (Note: According to multiple sources, the announcement is probably coming on Thursday.)

KU football stinks, as usual. Waiting for basketball season there. Every week I keep looking to see if I can buy tickets online for the Villanova game up in Philly and still don't see it. *sigh*

And the Capitals are stuck in lockout land. So...tennis anyone? ;)
