Jayhawks preseason coaches poll ranking: #1

The first ESPN/USA Today men's college basketball poll (voted on by college basketball coaches) was released yesterday and placed the University of Kansas #1, followed closely by Wake Forest, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, and Illinois. None of this really means anything, since the only "poll" that counts is the tournament at the end of the season (what a funny concept...settling on a champion on the court instead of polls...).

But what this does mean is...college hoops is almost upon us and Jayhawk Nation is starting to get excited. The Hawks have a great team coming back, led by three very talented seniors. We're healthy, experienced, and hungry. After losing in the Final Four to Maryland, then in the championship game to Syracuse, then falling just a shot away from making the Final Four again last year in an OT loss to Georgia Tech...this is a hungry team. And once again...if the Red Sox can do it...anyone can. ;)

So...let's get on our feet fellow members of Jayhawk Nation. Why not us?

ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK KU
ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK KU
ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK...KU!!
