Moving people is not fun

Since I know you're all curious...my weekend was not particularly eventful. Saturday was "moving day" for Uncle Buck (also known as SG...he was dubbed Uncle Buck b/c of his giant green car - don't ask me why, but...somehow...the nickname has stuck). I don't enjoy moving myself, and enjoy moving other people even less. It isn't fun. At least he was (more or less) packed. It really didn't take us all that long to move him, really. But...the task itself wasn't fun. Moving heavy boxes of books up from the basement to the front room, then out to a truck, then out of truck and up three flights of stairs to new apartment (no elevator).

Needless to say, it was backbreaking and exhausting work, even it it didn't really take very long to complete (all things considered). Was tired and sore all day yesterday. But at least it's all done and taken care of.

Other than that, my weekend was completely without...well...anything. I didn't do anything on Friday night (I asked some people if they wanted to do something and they all had plans - typical) or yesterday. Spent some time with e-mail yesterday but that was about it. As I mentioned on Friday, I'm having real trouble getting into the Christmas spirit. I seem to have a serious case of the 'blahs.' I'll figure it out eventually.
