So much for getting the heat off Karl

Today's lead story in the Washington Post? Well...if you guessed the President's SCOTUS nominee, you'd be wrong. Nope...today's lead is:
Plame's Identity Marked As Secret

What a surprise. In other words...
Anyone reading that paragraph should have been aware that it contained secret information, though that designation was not specifically attached to Plame's name and did not describe her status as covert, the sources said. It is a federal crime, punishable by up to 10 years in prison, for a federal official to knowingly disclose the identity of a covert CIA official if the person knows the government is trying to keep it secret.
So...no matter what...Karl should have known otherwise. Doesn't matter if he didn't use her name. You can bet this will probably be one of the main subjects at the press gaggle today with the administration's chief liar and apologist, Scott McLellan.
